All our ETDP’s are fully qualified, experienced, and registered with the South African Professional Firearms Trainers Council (SAPFTC), Private Security Industry Regulatory Authority (PSIRA), Safety and Security Sector Education and Training Authority (SASSETA), South African Police Services (SAPS) and Government Security Regulator Crime Intelligence and Protection Services (NKP).
Eyabantu has trained well over 7 000 private and corporate learners in various skills training programme to date. In 2017 Eyabantu was nominated preferred training provider to Rhodes University to train its campus protection unit.
Eyabantu has become a lead partner to many major security service providers in KZN contracted to various industries such as Engen Refinery, SABC, Eskom, King Shaka International Airport and SA Reserve Bank.

Step 1: Complete the prescribed firearm training of choice at Eyabantu Academy
Step 2: Complete the prescribe SAPS 517 form and submit the application together with the following supporting documentation to the designated firearms officer (DFO) at the police station in the area where you ordinarily reside.
- Certified copy of your official identification document or passport
- Certified copy of your permanent residence permit in case of a non- South African citizen
- Certified copy of your firearm proficiency training certificate issued by an accredited training provider and Statement of Result issued by the South African Professional Firearms Trainer Council
- Two passport-size colour photographs (with a neutral background) that are not older than three months
- Certified proof of residence

ACCREDITATION
Eyabantu Academy is a fully registered, accredited, and compliant training services provider with the relevant statutory and regulatory bodies governing the specific provision of education and training in South Africa.
